Weather Balloon Program Getting Lots of Visibility
The IU Weather Balloon Program has been getting a lot of press coverage, with five news stories to date:
Understanding what controls weather and climate phenomena that impact human and natural systems using numerical models, novel data analysis techniques, and fundamental theory.
Developing and running numerical simulations of weather and climate—both regional and global—to improve our understanding of weather and to improve our ability to adapt to climate change.
Investigating marine stratocumulus clouds and coastal fog to understand what drives variability and change in these locally and globally important cloud systems.
